This product is amazing. It was a great price and Came quickly and easy to use for my parents as a Christmas present. It was big enough to put enough chicken fingers in for 5 kids today.

Didn’t give 5 stars, because, i personally haven’t used … It was a gift for my daughter for her college apt style dorms. She felt it was a little intimidating, but trial and error seems to work..Burnt food or not!

Easy to use and easy to clean.
It’s my first air-fryer and I was very happy with the results, once I figured out how to use it.
The instructions are seriously lacking. Once you understand how to use the controls it makes sense, but there is not guidance from any manual or video.
Once you get the hang of it, it works well. So far I have cooked chicken, salmon, Brussel sprouts, white and sweet potatoes and have been rally happy with the results. The salmon ended up with a very crispy skin, the potatoes were toasty on the outside and nice and tender on the inside. The sprouts were nice and crispy.
Cleanup is a breeze, after taking the food out, I put the whole thing in the sink, put in some hot water and a bit of soap and let it soak while eating. After dinner it’s a quick sponge and clean.
The unit is big, so you’ll need counter space, but you’ll use the air fryer a good amount.
This is also the first cooking appliance I have gotten that didn’t come with some sort of recipe book. Back to the theme of lacking documentation.

I use this air fryer everyday. I can’t speak for how well it does without liners. I only cook with them. I like that the top is flat and that is where I can store my liners. I love the handles to easily move it around. I don’t care for the basket being attached to the handle like it is. I guess I just don’t see the point and I think it makes the handle thicker than it needs to be. I like the display. It is easy to read and use. It has preheat and a alert for turning your food. I’m replacing an old chefman with only temp and time dial so this thing seems like a huge upgrade.

NB: I’m still learning how to fully use this air fryer. I have previously owned a front-loading convection/toaster oven style air fryer from another brand, but this is my first time using this style of air fryer. I will try to make some comparisons based on style of machine in addition to things about this specific unit.
What I like about this Toshiba air fryer:
– Very spacious basket. At 7.7 qt it’s already larger than a lot of others in this style, but it also makes good use of the space, and balances the basket surface area with the depth of the basket nicely, and in my view pretty well optimizes that capacity for most tasks
– Relatively short preheat time. I believe it took less than 5 minutes to fully preheat
– Clear, obvious signals. It very clearly signaled when it was done preheating, and also signaled and paused when it was time to turn the contents over. This was nice, since I expected to forget to do this. The machine signals, tells you to flip (on the screen), and maintains holding temperature until it’s flipped. It automatically resumes cooking when the backet is pulled out and returned to the machine.
– So far, the presets have been great for what they’re supposed to do. The fries setting, in particular, consistently turns out nice, crisp fries from frozen. When reheating, the fries turn out a lovely golden brown and delightfully crisp.
– Price (currently $129.99) seems quite reasonable for the capacity and consistency of results.
What I like about this style vs toaster oven style:
– Does seem to produce a better result on potatoes and some vegetables than the toaster oven style
– Able to use this style in closer proximity to other appliances. The toaster oven style gives off a lot more heat.
– In my opinion, much easier to clean than the toaster oven style. While the latter has dishwasher, friendly baskets and trays, they’re not coated metals so grease frequently cooks on rather quickly and the oven becomes much less useful for certain applications. It’s also a pain in the neck to clean the entire inside of a toaster oven after each use. Much easier to clean the coated basket and inner tray
– Shorter overall cooking time due to better heat retention
What I dislike about this style vs toaster oven style:
– Toaster oven style has convection from above and below, which makes for more even cooking without the need for flipping
– Toaster oven style can also be used as a toaster oven, and the model I had also had dehydration function, rotisserie (with rotation), regular baking, and a handful of other features. In fairness, apart from the rotisserie, I never used most of those features. I also have not yet cooked a whole chicken in the Toshiba, so I don’t know how well it replicates the effect of rotisserie cooking.

I love having an air fryer. It typically cuts down the cooking time, but more importantly, it gives food that crispier texture that an oven just always can’t. My chicken comes out crispier. My sweet potato fries come out crispier. And, once you get the hang of it, it’s so easy to use and clean. A lot of items now that you bake in the oven come with directions to use the air fryer as well. If they don’t, you can still use the air fryer. I just make sure to cut back on the listed cooking time a little bit so as to not overcook and dry out what I’m cooking, and check it when it’s getting closer.
Using this Toshiba air fryer is pretty self-explanatory. However, it does come with a lot of additional functions and settings that you’ll need to read up on. Once you get the hang of it and know what all the buttons mean and do, it’ll be a breeze to accomplish all the tasks you want to accomplish. Clean up is very easy, too. You only have to clean out the inner pot, which is basically like a pot you’d use on the stove top. It’s super easy to wash it out in the sink, dry, and slide back in the air fryer.

I use air fryers once in a while. They can be a handy supplement in the kitchen and are a good tool to have. My existing air fryer was on the way out so I grabbed this one, figuring it would might be a good replacement.
It is a vast improvement over my old one. Whether due to age or style, my old air fryer did not cook as well as this on does. I’ve had no issues with this air fryer getting everything I’ve cooked nice and crispy (mostly French fries).
The steps to use it were easy to follow and it worked right from the first time on. It is a solid replacement and probably one I should have made sooner.
